The Ka means the double of the person which gets separated from the body after death. The main aim of the people is to ensure that Ka gets a home afterlife. That is the reason people kept bread, beer, oxen, and fowl to feed the Ka afterlife. It is also believed that Ka returns to its body and therefore the dead body has to look like person as much as possible. Also, people would leave more than food for the deceased like weapons, clothes, servants, mummified pets so that they would be prepared for the afterlife. The servants would help the owner in the afterlife. They believed that one should do good deeds throughout the life to have a smooth afterlife.
